The above sequence shows the movement of the moon through the earth's shadow. The skies were variably cloudy for the duration of the eclipse starting with high overcast and moving to heavy cloud cover by the end of the eclipse.

The event timings for this eclipse were: Partial Eclipse Begins - 3:15 AM, Total Eclipse Begins - 4:25 AM, Maximum Eclipse 4:55 AM, Total Eclipse Ends 5:24 AM, and Partial Eclipse Ends - 6:34 AM. (All times are in MDT.)

This image above was taken during a gap in the clouds at 4:48 AM. The long exposure captures a number of stars in the constellation of Pisces and the planet Uranus. Uranus is the bright green "star" on the left side of the frame.
