The above sequence shows the movement of the earth's shadow over the moon during this eclipse. From the vantage point of the observatory,
the moon disappeared behind some trees at 6:30 am.
The event timings for this eclipse were: Partial Eclipse Begins - 5:45 AM, Total Eclipse Begins - 7:05 AM, Mid-Eclipse 7:32 AM, Total Eclipse Ends - 7:47 AM,
and Partial Eclipse Ends - 9:18 AM. (All times are in MST.)

The image above was taken at 6:50 AM; shortly before the beginning of total eclipse. Within a few minutes the moon was gone from view.
