Looking south from the Window Rock Trail, a number of named rock formations can be seen. Sentinel Spire is closest to the viewer. Independence Monument and The Island define the divide between Monument Canyon and Wedding Canyon. Kissing Couple can be seen in the distance. You may wish to compare this view with that of Grand View from the opposite side of Independence Monument. Mouseover the image to see formation identification.
