This is an image of C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) on the evening of March 21, 2013. On this evening the comet was in a position where I could use the observatory equipment to get a deeper view. The bright stars to the upper left of the comet are 55 (top) and 54 Piscium. They are magnitude 5 stars in the constellation Pisces.

This is an image of C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) on the evening of March 16, 2013. On this evening the comet appears in a patch of clear sky that allows me to capture the best image of the comet to date. However, within minutes, clouds would quickly close over the scene ending the view for the night.

This is an image of C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) on the evening of March 14, 2013. The tail of the comet is starting to show up nicely. The comet remains close to the horizon and is framed by persistent clouds.

This is an image of C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) taken on the evening of March 10, 2013. While Comet PANSTARRS is fairly bright on this date, mountain clouds and lingering twilight make image capture difficult.
