This eclipse was marred by clouds. The beginning half of the eclipse was totally obscured. An opening in the clouds formed towards the end of the totality phase allowing for a few sharp images. However, the opening quickly closed was replaced by variable high clouds.

This image was captured six minutes after the end of the totality phase. The image was shown on the FOX 31 News evening broadcast on February 21, 2008.
