M36 (NGC1960) is the open cluster on the left side of this image. NGC1931 is the small open cluster and associated nebula seen on the right side of the image. Other designations for the nebula, which has emission and reflection components, include CED 49, LBN 810, Herschel H261-1, and Sharpless SH2-237.
