The above sequence shows the movement of the moon over the sun during this eclipse. The skies started out variably cloudy at the start of the eclipse, moving quickly to heavy cloud cover as wave clouds set up over the northern Front Range. At the end of the eclipse the sun peeked out of the cloud cover briefly before setting.

The event timings for this eclipse were: Eclipse Begins - 3:18 PM, Maximum Eclipse 4:35 PM, and Eclipse Ends - 5:44 PM. (All times are in MDT.)
