Looking north from Grand View towards Fruita, a number of named rock formations can be seen. Independence Monument, the large sail formation, defines the divide between Monument Canyon and Wedding Canyon. In addition to Independence Monument, Pipe Organ, Sentinel Spire, and Window Rock are visible in order looking north.
